Our History …
Ramsay Clay (pictured with his wife and son) set up as a decorator in July 1946 in Huddersfield. He grew the business painting for the people of Huddersfield both in their homes and their businesses.
In the late 60’s the business was taken over by his son and in the new millennium by his grandson, Nathan.
As well as homes and businesses we have carved a niche over the last 20 years in heritage decorating and have worked in a number of historical buildings and churches such as Doncaster Mansion House and Westminster Abbey.
Nathan Clay …
Nathan is the first grandson of Ramsay and he joined the business in the late 90’s. He did 10 years ‘on the tools’ learning his trade before taking over the reigns from his Dad.
Nathan is not only a skilled decorator but also a talented sign-writer and guilder.
